Udhyakumar Nallasamy, Alan Black, Tanja Schultz, Robert Frederking
Abstract
In this paper, we describe NineOneOne (9-1-1), a system designed to recognize and translate Spanish emergency calls for better dispatching. We analyze the research challenges in adapting speech translation technology to 9-1-1 domain. We report our initial research towards building the system and the results of our initial experiments.- Anthology ID:
