I'm an Army vet and I want to look into help from the independent living track
Does your your service-connected disability limit your ability to perform daily living activities and you can’t return to work right away?
no, I think I could work but my activities are limited
so do I get independent living help?
you may qualify for independent living services through the Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Independent Living track. You may also receive help as you work to find a job if that is a goal you and your Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor have created.
================
what if I am eligible , how would I get help?
A VRC would work with you to determine the severity of your service-connected disability, if you’re ready to work, and if you’ll benefit from independent living services. Your VRC will help you create a personalized, written independent living plan that meets your needs.
================
can we see about the other requirements?
Okay. Do you have a serious employment handicap?
I think I do, depends on the job really
Do your disabilities prevent you from looking for or returning to work?
No, I think I could work and look for a job with a computer and that kind of thing
I'm sorry but you don't appear to be eligible for independent living services through VR&E
