Hi, i think i'll soon be in need of a loan for home purposes, but i'll also need proof of that. Do you have any option for veterans in that regard?
In fact, we have the Veterans home loan certificate of eligibility. That certificate is the first step in getting a veterans affairs backed home loan.
And that certificate will really be useful to me?
Of course. That document may well serve you as proof before your lender that you qualify for a Veterans home loan benefit.

That's a relief. And that's all i have to do right? Or do i have to do anything else?
You guessed right on that last one. Doing the application is just the first step. Next ones will be determined by loan type and lender you have, whether this be a private bank or a mortgage company.
Is your lender one of these institutions?
No, not at all.
I understand. Now, Are you part of native american people?
Yeah, i'm part of an autochthonous people. What happens there?
IF that's your case. then Veterans Affairs will be your lender.

That's pretty nice of you. I really appreciate that, thanks. Look, i forgot to mention this before, but i'm a discharged member of the National Guard. Based on that, is there something i need to present?
Sure. You'll have to present your Report of Separation and Record of Service or NGB Form 22 for each period of National Guard service. Along that, you'll have to present your Retirement Points Statement or NGB Form 23 plus a proof of the character of service.
