Where will I go for VA health care?
Did you sign up for VA health care?
Yes, I have signed up for VA health care.
That is great because you will be part of the country's largest integrated health care system with more than 1,200 locations serving over 9 million Veterans each year.

What do I need to do if I am moving outside the U.S.?
You would need to sign up for Foreign Medical Program and we will pay for certain needed health care services received in foreign countries for your service-connected disability.

What if I need specialized treatment and services?
We would refer you to other locations and we will use our electronic medical record system to coordinate your care no matter where it is at.

How can I get more information?
You can call your local VA medical center enrollment coordinator.
What happens when I am not near any VA medical center?
We definitely would pay for emergency care in a non-VA setting; but you should call your nearest VA medical center as soon as possible and ask to talk to a patient transfer or patient administration representative.
