Argentina has probably one of the greatest shifts of politics with a women’s perspective, yet lost many of original motives when the change finally occurred.  Starting with Plaza de Mayos which began the shift to the left who gave the CNM the opportunity to become more advocates with a female perspective for government. This organization lost its original intentions after the economic fell by successfully helping women financially not socially. Cristina Kirchner was a female president who went against gender equality by not approving entirely for reproductive rights, yet began many reforms that helped benefit women as well. Argentina has made very great achievements evens during certain political or economic crises regarding the promotion of women, yet many women groups and individuals employed to the government did not entirely promote themselves
