Supplement No 1 to the subletting agreement of 13 May 2016
On the following date, month and year, Marta Burešová, r. No 695604/3017, concludes with: Radimova 8, Prague 6, ZIP Code: 169 00 as tenant on the one hand (hereinafter referred to as "tenant") and Karolína Černá, r. No 136205/891 byte: Alfrédova 13, Prague 4, ZIP Code: 142 00 as lodger on the other hand (hereinafter referred to as "sub-tenant") together hereinafter referred to as "the contracting parties" to this Supplement No 1 to the Subsistence Agreement of 13 May 2016 (hereinafter referred to)
I.
Introductory provision
On 13 May 2016, a subletting agreement was concluded between the tenant, on the one hand, and the sub-tenant, on the other, under which the tenant left to the tenant to use Apartment No 4 (acreage 49 sqm) in size 1+1/L on the 1st upper floor of a house in Prague 4, Alfrédova 13, ZIP code: 142 00, k. ú. Kamýk (also referred to as "the apartment in question" and hereinafter referred to as "the subletting agreement"), including in the subletting agreement for an apartment of specified equipment and accessories.
The owner of the apartment in question is the housing association ‘Housing cooperative Alfrédova 13’, ID: 123 45 678, located in Prague 4, Kamýk, Alfrédova 13, Postal code: 142 00 (hereinafter referred to as "Housing Cooperative").
On the basis of a statement made by the tenant in the Subletting Agreement, the tenant's husband (Mr Martin Bureš, No: 760305/3920) expressed his agreement to the conclusion of the Subletting Agreement before signing the Subletting Agreement.
By signing this Supplement No 1, the tenant then declares that her husband has also given his consent to this Supplement No 1.
In Article III of the subletting agreement, entitled ‘Term of the sublease’, the tenant and sub-tenant have agreed that the apartment in question will be let to the sub-tenant for a fixed period from 13.5.2016 until 31.12.2018.
II.
Subject of Appendix 1
As both parties have an interest in the continuation of the relationship established by the Lease Agreement, they have agreed to extend the lease for a further two years, i.e. the tenant is entitled to use the apartment in question until 31.12.2020 inclusive.
The other provisions of the lease agreement remain unchanged.
III.
Final provisions
This Appendix 1 shall take effect on the date of signature by both Contracting Parties.
This Appendix 1 is drafted and signed in 2 (in the words of: two) copies, each of which has the validity of the original.
Each Contracting Party shall receive one copy.
Where a provision of this Appendix 1 is, or becomes, invalid or ineffective, this shall not affect the validity or effectiveness of the other provisions of this Appendix 1.
In such a case, the Contracting Parties undertake to replace the invalid or ineffective provision of this Appendix 1 with the provision in force and in effect that most closely corresponds to the purpose of this Appendix 1.
The appendix is bilingual.
In the event of a dispute, the Czech version is decisive.
The Contracting Parties declare that they have read Appendix 1, that they agree with its contents, and that Appendix 1 was concluded freely, seriously, not in distress under conspicuously unfavourable conditions.
Participants in this Treaty shall affix their hand-written signature to the proof of such facts.
