Abstract
This paper describes a parsing system used in a framework for the development of Natural Language grammars. It is an interactive environment suitable for writing robust NL applications generally. Its heart is the SAIL parsing algorithm that uses a Phrase-Structure Grammar with extensive augmentations. Furthermore, some particular parsing tools are embedded in the system, and provide a powerful environment for developing grammars, even of large coverage.- Anthology ID:
