== Peer-review corpus ==
This peer-review corpus comes along with the paper "Automatically Predicting Peer-Review Helpfulness" by Wenting Xiong and Diane Litman, which contains 267 peer reviews and 16 related students' papers. It was collected using a freely available web-based peer-review system in an introductory college history class.

== Contents ==
1.	Students' papers are under the "./papers/" directory indexed from 1 to 16. They have already been converted into .txt format.

2.	Reviews are presented in "peerReviewHelpfulness.xls", in which review index, paper No., reviewer No., paper rating and review helpfulness rating are also provided for each peer review.

== P.S. ==
1.	Paper quality was rated in a discrete scale from 1 to 7 (paperRating) during the peer-review process.
2.	The gold standard score of peer-review helpfulness is defined as the average of ratings given by two experts who separately rated each peer review with integers from 1 to 5.
